JSA 436G was dispatched by Jaguar on 22nd May 1969 and supplied to its first owner in New York. Having had just two owners in the USA. The second owner of Massachusetts, retained the car until 2015, whereupon it was purchased by its last owner and repatriated to the UK.
A matching numbers manual transmission example it remains in largely original condition showing 22,000 miles it would benefit from cosmetic improvements but is a sound, solid and usable car as is.
The history file mentions work carried out to the car prior to it’s import that included a completely new braking system, new front calipers and discs, new clutch master cylinder, overhauled original Lucas alternator, overhauled radiator, new shock absorbers, petrol tank removed and leak tested, new fuel lines and gaskets, new SU fuel pump, new original type battery and new front to back stainless steel exhaust system. There are also some bills to show work here in the UK.
This is fine original example that starts on the button and drives well that can be enjoyed immediately with a provision to improve during ownership. It is also supplied with UK registration documents and some old MoT’s.
